I’m a big fan of the Air Max 1! These Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 2.0 are a re-do of an older collab on the sneaker from 2006 with some different color placement.
The shoes feature tiger, leopard, zebra and cow print.
Dark clothes are going to look best with these thanks to the black toebox. The toe area really gives the rest of the shoe a darker look than it’s predecessor. Dark or black pants and a black top are going to be the easiest way to pull these off.
I’ve also seen people rocking these with lighter denim and a white top, and it can look good if you swap to a different lace color such as white.
I definitely paid a higher price for sleeping on these when they first dropped. In pics, they didn’t seem too impressive, but in hand these are awesome! Definitely glad I finally added these statement pieces to the collection!
How Are The Materials?
The materials on the Air Max 1 x Atmos “Animal 2.0” contain real calf hair according to a sticker I found in one of the shoes. Overall this material is soft one way, and if you run your finger the opposite way, it’s stiff and bristly.
Overall the quality seems to be very good! I’m not seeing any weird QC issues and in my collection, these are in a class of their own materials-wise.
How Do The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 Animal Pack 2.0 Fit?
The sneakers fit true to size, on the narrow side.
I did true to size because its my favorite way to size AM1s, and these are definitely more on the small side than other AM1s I own. That said, they’re still very comfy in a snug way and the shape is pretty good right out of the box, although I did a slight reshape on my pair.
